May has been one busy month…I have heard several people refer to it as the new December since it is so busy! I don’t feel like I have many favorites this month, but here are a few.
Peonies! Love me some peonies! Trader Joe’s has had them for $6.99 a bunch and I have been stocking up every time I am there.
Tiny dancers! I have loved that my Instagram and Facebook feeds have been full of pictures of tiny dancers. Madeleine was so excited to have the opportunity to dance on the Cullen Theatre stage at the Wortham. “It is where REAL ballerinas dance, Mommy!” She sure was adorable in her performance. Poor Alexandra came down with tonsillitis that morning and wasn’t feeling up to performing.
Bloodline is back! I will count it as a May favorite since it was just released on Netflix last week and I have already binge watched the second season!
I picked up this dry shampoo by Aveda earlier this month and I am in love with it! I really like that it is a powder instead of an aerosol. Great for traveling…I can pack it in my carry on and not have to count it as a liquid! It gives my hair just the right amount of texture and volume at the roots.
Last, but definitely not least, Plumprint! You send them your child’s artwork and they scan it and compile it all in a book. My children are so proud of their masterpieces, but I have a phobia of too much paper clutter. This is the best of both worlds. Their artwork is documented in a book that they can look at anytime and I don’t have piles of paper siting all around my house. It is a win win! I will be ordering new ones next week of all this year’s artwork. Use this link and you will receive $15 off your order.
